When I started working at Nesper, as a designer, I was focused on the design aspect of the job. Upon getting some designs approved and moved on to the fabrication department, I needed to see what happened after they left my hands. I wanted to see how these designs were going to translate from a 2-dimensional print to the 3-dimensional world. I walked over to the fabrication department to have a look.

Quality, Skill, and Detail

While I am sometimes prone to hyperbole. I am not being hyperbolic when I say I was absolutely awestruck by what our builders were doing. They are not just builders, they are craftsmen and the attention to detail is distinct. There is absolutely no cutting of corners on a build. Our fabricators put their mind, body, and soul into building these signs. Signs that are going to look beautiful and also be structurally sound enough to withstand these harsh, Midwestern elements. Elements they will exist in 24 hours per day in all seasons.

This is notably impressive when we consider the largely disposable products that are being produced these days. Planned obsolescence, is not part of the plan at Nesper. When I look at the craftsmanship and passion that goes into a sign that’s been built in our shop, it gives me a feeling of pride. A pride that a design that I worked on in the digital realm can become a part of our landscape in the natural world. Signage that may help a person find their way to a destination, or attract customers into a new business.

Quality of Installation

I can’t mention craft and craftsmanship, and not include the installation aspect. When it comes to installation, our crew is second to none. The years of experience within that part of our company is remarkable. Sign installation can be a tricky thing. With experience comes the ability to be agile in the approach, making it easy to pivot due to unforeseen circumstances. When you the quality of our installations, you’ll know it was Nesper.
